| 1. How are you related to the Wartenbergh’ers? My Mothers sister is Anneke Wartenbergh. 2. Describe yourself in some short terms – While I probably talk to much, I love to tell a good story----hopefully one that makes you laugh. I’m competitive, love sports, and a good dutch beer!……and of course long for the day USA wins World Cup. 3. Describe your most funny memory… At Opa and Oma’s Vanderwiel’s reunion, I had to play in a skit to sing part of a song. My dutch was so bad, all I could think of doing was using my hands to try and show what I was saying. Being from the US, and with accent, it must have looked very funny. 4. Describe the most terrible one… at age 14 I lost my only sister to a car accident. I was first to the scene and needed to really understand what had happened. It’s a day you cant forget but one you wish you could. 5. Tell us about your love life! Extended please! …….I am surrounded by lovely Women. An you to can be surrounded by women. All you need to do is come to the US!!! Kidding aside, my love connects through 3 females, Wife Julie, Daughter Jackie, and Dog Baci. While we are expecting a third child in September, I’m sure that will be a daughter to. But besides the females, the other love of my life is GOLF! They hold in your hand without complaint, you can swing them around when ever you want, they never talk back, and always go where you want them to! Wow, does it get any better! 6. To what do you look forward in the short term ? A new house to fit all my women in! Breaking 78 in a round of golf, a new sports car (anything will do really), and coming again to Holland. 7. What are your activities in the weekend ? Golf of course. And Road trips and travel to Mountains (Sun Valley), Canyon Lands (Phoenix), and the Sunshine states, Florida, California. 8. Share with us 2 bad habits and 2 good ones! Bad- Talk to much, and do to many things at once. Good- Very tidy, neat Landscaping of the home, and taking something old or broken, and fixing it instead of throwing it out. 9. What is your most terrible ‘candid camera’ moment ? In college I had my picture taken in a bar at a table with 3 women, neither of which was my girl-friend back home. It was the grand opening of the club and the picture was put in the paper. Needless to say, I had a lot of explaining to do. 10. What do you think of the Wartenbergh family and this site? Most Americans have no idea what it means to have family fun. They stay within themselves and let themselves live very individually. Wartenbergh’s represent true meaning of family, what it means to have fun and be together, and how have fun enriches your lives and keeps you young!!! This site shows it in many ways. Keep it up. 11. Do you have suggestions for www.wartenbergh.com ? Great, it just needs a Uni-Code language translation so I can read all the dutch as well as the extended Wartenbergh followers who also want to read in the states!
